Children’s Museum Tucson is newly renovated with a $1.2 million investment—and the results? You won’t believe it. Exhibits are more interactive than ever with educational programs growing immensely. This is home base for connecting with your little ones, and the upgrades continue. In the Gravity Room, you’ll defy the earth’s force. Take a spin on the Recycle Bicycle Wheel, and check out the magic of the Marble Madness.
Families love playing in the Caterpillar Thriller and the Ball Wall, crafting their very own gravity maze. Build It is the museum’s latest exhibit where children create, connect and experiment. Tackle over-sized construction pieces like the Kiva Planks and Rig-Ama-Jig, helping your engineers and architects in the making of structures while coupling brainpower and muscle.
A Museum for Me
Special, temporary exhibits are updated in real-time on the CMT website, but it’ll take a full day or two to explore the permanent exhibits! Take a look at Wee World, the new space just for kids under four years old. Playhouses, rock climbing walls, carrot cars and slides are all waiting. In the Imaginarium, your budding artist can explore their craft.
Head to the Mini Nano Exhibit to learn how things differ on the nano scale. At the Investigation Station, STEM is encouraged in a fun atmosphere. Try out juggling skills, challenge yourself to the Power Pump Seats, and more. Special events and plenty of dining options are also available.
