Sign up for the Pecan Classic Fun Run and choose from a 15k, 5k or 1.5 mile run. Held in nearby Sahuarita, you’ll go “nuts” over this annual event on November 11. Race through the stunning Green Valley Pecan Orchards, and don’t forget to take a wagon ride afterwards to learn more about local pecan harvesting. The horse demo area and pecan pie contest are fun ways for the whole family to end the festivities.

Check out Colossal Vail 50/50 Arizona Trail Run also on November 11 for a 50 mile or 50k trail run in Vail. This epic ultra-run takes racers along the Arizona Trail for one of the most challenging events in Arizona. However, the terrain is gentle and the trails expertly crafted.
