Tucson Rodeo and Parade

La Fiesta de los Vaqueros is the Tucson Rodeo you can’t miss. A signature event in the city, you can experience “the vaquero way” February 18 – 26 with covered seating for all guests, a catered lunch and beverage options. This package includes a parking pass and a program with the day’s events. For the Vaquero package, it’s $70 per day or $60 with ten or more purchases on the same day.

Every year, over 200,000 attendees come to see the Wild West floats, horse-drawn carriages and buggies at the annual parade. You’ll see Mexican folk dancers, mariachi bands and riders as the parade heads down Park Avenue to South 6th. Head to the grandstands on February 23rd to catch the 9 a.m. parade, or check out the parade decorating party on the 22nd.

A Full Event

It’s a full week of family-friendly fun with February 18th marking the opening day. The pro rodeo starts at 2 p.m., and the Coors Barn Dance goes until 8 p.m. and is open to all ages. February 19th is Pink Day, where cowboys and fans come together to support breast cancer awareness during more pro rodeo competitions.

Don’t miss steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing, and, of course, the final day of the competition to see who’s buck wild this year. Every night, there’s a barn dance, and restaurants around the arena go all out for this tradition.
